itel P40 officially launched with a 6,000 mAh battery and 6.6” screen. The itel P40 was announced today, becoming the latest entry-level offering by the brand. The phone offers a large display and a big battery as its key selling point. The P40 has a 6.6” IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. There is a waterdrop notch on top for the 5MP selfie shooter.
There are two more cameras on the back – a 13MP primary shooter and a VGA depth sensor. The modest Unisoc SC9863A chipset powers the phone. It has eight Cortex-A55 CPU cores running at 1.6GHz, while the GPU is PowerVR GE8322, clocked at 550MHz.

The maker did not reveal the actual RAM as it quotes it with the dynamic RAM included – 64 + 7GB, 32 + 6GB, and 64 + 4GB. Oddly, we are looking at 64/4GB, 32/3GB, and 64/2GB RAM versions. The itel P40 runs Android 12 Go Edition. The battery is 6,000 mAh and supports 18W charging.
Other highlights include a fingerprint scanner on the back and Face Unlock features. The price is INR7,699, which translates to just $92/€88, and the phone can already be purchased from the company store. Color options are Yellow, Blue, and Black.
