Vivo Y77 releasing in China with Dimensity 930
Vivo Y77 releasing in China with Dimensity 930. The Vivo Y77 is about to launch officially. This has been the second time this week that a phone was released with the same name but in different countries and specifications.
The Chinese version of this phone, called the Vivo Y77, was launched a few days ago as an upgraded model of its world counterpart, the Vivo Y77 5G (released in Malaysia two weeks ago). It’s running on an upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset from previous generations.

The hardware specs are similar, but some other hardware components are changed up compared to the 5G phone in Malaysia. There are now either 6GB, 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options with pre-installed Android 12 platform Orean OS on top.
The display has advanced features, too – it’s a 6.64-inch 2388x1080px IPS LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. There is a capacitive fingerprint scanner on one side, or you can use the 8MP front-facing camera for face recognition (the same cameras in Malaysia).
