It’s difficult to find a better-equipped flagship phone that’s useable in one hand as the Galaxy S22 is one of the few options available on both the Android side. It comes with an impressive and bright 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED that has as much as 982 nits of peak brightness and a different refresh rate that varies from 24 to 120 Hz.
Galaxy S22 brings a premium dual-glass appearance, protected with Gorilla Victus+ on both sides as well as an aluminium frame that is in the middle. It’s also water and dust-proof, and comes with a dual speaker array that supports Dolby Atmos.

The unit we tested came equipped with the 4nm Exynos 2200 chipset that performed among the best flagships available currently, though we did observe some thermal throttling when performing more demanding activities like 3D gaming.
The battery’s endurance isn’t particularly impressive, at best with an endurance of 85 hours during our tests. The camera configuration that is used here is directly inherited to Samsung’s Galaxy S22+ meaning a 50MP main cam, a 12 Megapixel ultrawide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom.
The daytime photos of all three sensors are gorgeous and leave little to be desired, as do nighttime photos. Video recording from all three sensors was excellent and even in low lighting, with up to 8K resolution on the main sensor.
