iQOO 9 series release with Samsung GN5 main camera, 150-degree ultrawide lens. iQOO 9, along with the iQOO 9 Pro flagship phones, are set to launch in January. 6, in China. According to recent reports, this iQOO nine duo will be equipped with the Samsung GN5 camera as the primary one.
Today, Samsung released an official announcement confirming that Samsung GN5 will be the primary camera. Samsung GN5 will be making its debut on the iQOO nine series. The lens pictured on the poster above has GN5′ and the words ‘gimbal stabilization’ on it. The poster also declares that the iQOO 9 Pro will be equipped with micro-PTZ 2.0.
The video below illustrates how the new iQOO Professional will have an ultrawide lens with a 150-degree FOV similar to its predecessor, the Realme GT2 Pro, debuting a day earlier. Additionally, it is believed that iQOO 9 Pro will offer an angle-correcting fisheye mode, which allows users to take ultrawide images with a more considerable distance of focus that looks like looking through the peephole a door.

The reports have indicated that there is a possibility that the iQOO 9 Pro’s fifty-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera with OIS gimbal support will be accompanied by 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with 150-degree FOV as well as an OIS-aided 16-megapixel telephoto camera that comes with a 2.5x optical zoom. It is believed that in 9’s Samsung GN5 50-megapixel primary camera will be combined with a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree FOV and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 camera for telephoto.
It is believed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset will power these models, which include the iQOO nine along with the 9 Pro. Both models will come with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and Android 12 OS. Its iQOO 9 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED with a curved edge LTPO display that comes with a resolution of QHD+ and 120H refresh rate.
There is speculation the new iQOO 9 comes with a 6.78-inch Flat AMOLED, FHD+ display with 120Hz. In the Pro version, you will feature an ultrasonic on-screen fingerprint scanner. It is expected that the iQOO nine range is anticipated to include an energy-efficient battery with 4,700mAh that can support 120W rapid charging. Its Pro version will allow wireless charging of 50W.
